JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Platform & Property Transition Specialist is responsible for coordinating and implementing software platform transitions and data conversions for newly acquired properties. This role supports the full lifecycle of property platform functionality, including website management, system setup, vendor integrations, and termination processes. The Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding of property systems, while maintaining high standards of technical accuracy, client service, and operational excellence.

JOB DESCRIPTION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate property management system setup and data conversions during property takeovers.
  • Analyze legacy data to determine optimal configuration in company systems.
  • Participate in kickoff calls with regional and functional teams to assess asset needs.
  • Support property website content and ensure consistency across web communities.
  • Implement and support integrated components for prospect and resident portals.
  • Administer content management platforms and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Configure and test vendor interfaces and integrated software functionality.
  • Identify and resolve software and policy issues across property management platforms.
  • Manage software termination processes for offboarded properties.
  • Collaborate with Help Desk and Software Support teams to resolve escalated issues.

BASIC KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
  • Strong communication skills for presentations and documentation.
  • Experience with property management software (Yardi, Entrata).
  • Familiarity with website management, HTML/JavaScript, and SEO.
  • Project management skills for planning, tracking, and implementing transitions.
  • Ability to analyze data and troubleshoot system configurations.
  • Understanding of apartment community operations and workflows.
  • College degree in Information Systems, Web Design, or related field preferred.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Team members work in an office or remote work environment. No special physical demands are required.
  • Rare or occasional travel may be required to attend business meetings, training programs, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position.

Additional Compensation:

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

  • Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.

  • Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
