JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Working as part of a collaborative team, this role is focused on business partnering across both our local and offshore teams to manage and maintain financial records, budget management and forecasting, report on property budgets and actuals and drive the financial accuracy and success of our teams.

Key responsibilities:
- Month-End: Work with external providers to complete property month end.
- Tax Compliance: Coordinate quarterly BAS and annual tax returns with external providers.
- Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of property reporting, budgets and reforecasts.
- Accounts Payable: Manage invoice processing, payments, and reconciliations with external providers and internal teams.
- Cash Management: Prepare cash flow forecasts, and partner with internal stakeholders to manage cash balances.
- Debt Management: Partner with internal stakeholders to support property related debt covenant reporting requirements.
To be successful in this role, you should have skills including:
- Tertiary education within accounting, business, finance or related
- CPA or CA qualified essential
- Demonstrated experience within property accounting, preferably gained within real estate / property management
- Strong understanding of AASB and IFRS as well as Australian GST
- Attention to detail with excellent financial acumen, proficient with analysis, forecasting and budgeting
- Experience with Yardi highly regarded but not essential
