APAC Procurement Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION
Compliance and Risk Mitigation:
Stay informed about regulatory changes and compliance requirements in each APAC country.
Implement and enforce global procurement policies including implementation of RFP software into the APAC region
Manage contract lifecycles and mitigate supply chain risks.
Review and enhance current processes to align with Greystar’s Corporate Governance framework.
Effectively utilise RFP management software for efficient procurement process management.
Monitor procurement processes, identifying enhancement opportunities within our governance framework to drive evolution and optimisation.
Supplier Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers across APAC.
- Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular reviews, and address any issues promptly.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Supplier Support and global team to develop procurement strategies.
Market Intelligence:
- Keep abreast of market trends, pricing fluctuations, and industry developments.
- Leverage market intelligence to optimise procurement decisions.
Additional Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing and Purchasing:
- Develop and execute direct spend sourcing strategies for real estate-related goods and services.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to align procurement activities with organisational goals.
- Drive cost savings initiatives through effective negotiations and supplier management.
- Oversee the end-to-end purchasing process, including requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor selection.
- Ownership of managing contracts and supplier relationships to meet operational needs effectively.
